How did Thandi handle pressure?

Maya Naidoo

“She flagged problems early and kept our month-end close on schedule.”

James Adams

“She stayed calm and helped the team prioritise the work that mattered.”

One observation to review
Both referees used the same network.

This can happen when colleagues answer from the same office. Review the context with the other information in the report; the signal alone does not establish who completed a response.

Built around the work you do

Keep the conversation.
Lose the chasing.

Give your desk time back.

Invitations and scheduled reminders keep the process moving. Your consultants can see which checks need their attention.

Make room for a call.

Some referees prefer to talk. Capture their answers in the same format, with a record of who took the reference.

Put your name on the result.

Your questions, logo and colours. Deliver a reference report your client can read and your team can explain.

Start small. Make it yours.

Trust, with context

Clear about the data.
Careful with the conclusions.

Consent is requested before the reference process begins. Your team can review the original answers and the observations behind each check.

Network and device signals help you ask better follow-up questions. LinkedIn can confirm an identity connection; it does not verify employment history or guarantee an answer.

A few useful answers

Before your
first check.

What does the free plan include?

Your first three candidates, one user and the complete reference workflow: questions, invitations, reminders, phone references, verification observations and branded PDF reports. No payment card is required. CV processing is included from Pro Agency, and work style assessments from Scaling Team.

Do candidates and referees need an account?

No. They use the link in their invitation. Candidates review the request and give consent before nominating referees. Referees give consent and answer the questions on their own device.

What if a referee would rather speak to us?

They can request a call. Your recruiter captures the conversation against the same questions, and the report records who took the reference and when.

What does verification tell us?

It shows observations about network, device, timing and identity that your team can consider alongside the answers. A signal can have an ordinary explanation. It is not a verdict on a person or a guarantee that an answer is true.

Can we use our own questions?

Yes. Start from the employment reference template or build your own. Conditional questions appear when relevant, and editing a template does not change a check already in progress.
